WHAT IS THE LANDING?
The Landing is a Christ-centered environment for 6-12th grade students to be honest and open about their hurts, habits, and hangups. It’s Celebrate Recovery for teenagers!
Whether addictions like alcohol or pornography, scars from the past like abuse or trauma, or ongoing battles with insecurities and fears, we believe the plan for growth is the same. We lead students through the Biblically based 12 steps by encouraging them to acknowledge and confess sin, make amends where needed, and continue to grow and give back.
The Landing is a place to be real, and to find real hope in a God whose redemptive power can overcome any struggle.
WHEN DOES THE LANDING MEET?
Every Tuesday (52 weeks a year!) @ Potters House of Camdenton from 5:15PM
5:15PM – Food
6:00PM – Large Group ( Worship with the adults first)
7:00PM – Small Group (Gender specific)
Students will meet today's problems with real biblical Wisdom.
At The Landing we don't just want students to slap a bible verse on something, we help them understand what the bible says about hurts, habits, and hangups.
It’s every week. Just like the rest of our lives never stop, neither does our learning how to handle it.
We follow the same schedule as the adults do in the larger group. This allows both parents and students to know exactly what each other are learning so that they can help encourage each other through the process.
Built on the relationships between the leaders and the students, this allows students to have another safe place where they can be taken seriously, show the love of Christ, and discipled to look like Him
